Romans 12 ¹Dear friends, God is good. So I beg youto offer your bodies to him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing. That's the most sensible way to serve God. ²Don't be like the peopleof this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will knowhow to do everything that is good and pleasing to him. Colossians 3: ¹⁵Each one of you is part of the bodyof Christ, and you were chosen to live together in peace. So let the peacethat comes from Christ control your thoughts. And be grateful. ¹⁶Let the message about Christ completely fill your lives, while you use allyour wisdom to teach and instruct each other. With thankful hearts, singpsalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God. ¹⁷Whatever you sayor do should be done in the name of the LORD Jesus, as you give thanksto God the Father because of him. (CEV)

James 1: ²⁷Religion that pleases God the Father must be pure and spotless. You must help needy orphans and widows and not letthis world make you evil. (CEV)

Psalms 32: ⁷You are my hiding place! You protect mefrom trouble, and you put songs in my heart because you have saved me.⁸ Yousaid to me, "I will point out the road that you should follow. I willbeyour teacher and watch over you. (CEV)

Psalms 33: ¹You are the LORD'S people. Obey him andcelebrate! He deserves your praise. ²Praise the LORD with harps!Use harps with ten strings to make music for him. ³Sing a newsong. Shout! Play beautiful music. ⁴The LORD is truthful; hecan be trusted. ⁵He loves justice and fairness, and he is kindto everyone everywhere on earth.....
    ⁸Everyone in this world should worshipand honor the LORD! (CEV)

Psalms 50: ¹⁰Every animal in the forest belongs tome, and so do the cattle on a thousand hills. ¹¹I know all thebirds in the mountains, and every wild creature is in my care.....
    ²³The sacrifice that honors me is a thankful heart. Obey me, and I, your God, will show my power to save. (CEV)

Psalms 51: ¹⁰Create pure thoughts in me and make mefaithful again. ¹¹Don't chase me away from you or take yourHoly Spiritaway from me....
    ¹⁷The way to please you is to feel sorrowdeep in our hearts. This is the kind of sacrifice you won't refuse. (CEV)
