Luke 10: ²He said to them: A large crop is in thefields, but there are only a few workers. Ask the LORD in charge of theharvest to send out workers to bring it in. (CEV)

Luke 12: ³²My little group of disciples, don't beafraid! Your Father wants to give you the kingdom. (CEV)

Luke 13: ³⁰There the ones who are now least important will be the most important, and those who are now most important will beleast important. (CEV)

Luke 14: ¹¹If you put yourself above others, you will be put down. But if you humble yourself, you will be honored. (CEV)

Luke 15: ⁷Jesus said, "In the same way there is more happiness in heaven because of one sinner who turns to God than over ninety-nine good people who don't need to." (CEV)

Luke 16: ¹⁵The things that most people think are important are worthless as far as God is concerned  (CEV)

Luke 18: ¹⁵Some people brought their little children for Jesus to bless. But when his disciples saw them doing this, they told the people to stop bothering him. ¹⁶So Jesus called the children over to him and said, "Let the children come to me! Don't try to stop them. People who are like these children belong to God's kingdom. ¹⁷ Youwill never get into God's kingdom unless you enter it like a child!" (CEV)

Matthew 9: ¹⁰Later, Jesus and his disciples were having dinner at Matthew's house. Many tax collectors and other sinners were also there. ¹¹Some Pharisees asked Jesus' disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and other sinners?" ¹²Jesusheard them and answered, "Healthy people don't need a doctor, but sickpeople do. ¹³Go and learn what the Scriptures mean when theysay, 'Instead of offering sacrifices to me, I want you to be merciful toothers.' I didn't come to invite good people to be my followers. I cameto invite sinners." (CEV)

3. How can we make the same mistake today of thinking that Christiansare better than non-Christians?
