Isaiah 45: 18The LORD alone is God! He createdthe heavens and made a world where people can live, instead of creatingan empty desert. The LORD alone is God; there are no others. 19The LORD did not speak in a dark secret place or command Jacob's descendantsto search for him in vain. (CEV)

Jeremiah 23: The LORD said: 16Don't listen tothe lies of these false prophets, you people of Judah! The message theypreach is something they imagined; it did not come from me, the LORD All-Powerful. 17Theseprophets go to people who refuse to respect me and who are stubborn anddo whatever they want. The prophets tell them, "The LORD has promised everythingwill be fine." ...... 18But I, the LORD, tell you that theseprophets have never attended a meeting of my council in heaven or heardme speak. 19They are evil! So in my anger I will strikethem like a violent storm. 20I won't calm down, until I havefinished what I have decided to do. Someday you will understand exactly what I mean. Acts 3: 24Samuel and all the other prophets who came later also spoke about what is now happening. 25Youare really the ones God told his prophets to speak to. And you weregiven the promise that God made to your ancestors. He said to Abraham,"Allnations on earth will be blessed because of someone from your family." (CEV)
Acts 13: 46...you rejected the message! This provesthat you don't deserve eternal life. Now we are going to the Gentiles.47 TheLORD has given us this command, "I have placed you here as a light forthe Gentiles. You are to take the saving power of God to people everywhere on earth." (CEV)
Acts 14: 15Turn to the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and everything in them. 16In times past,God let each nation go its own way. 17But he showed that hewas there by the good things he did.
