Book 2 - Chap 7 - What Is God Doing In Heaven Now?      grp107
In Nature God Is Always Showing Us His Glory and His Love!
Ice-breaker: What did your parents or you make (as a young person) that took some creative skill?

1 Tim 1: 16But since I was worse than anyone else,God had mercy on me and let me be an example of the endless patience ofChrist Jesus. He did this so that others would put their faith in Christand have eternal life. (CEV)

Acts 14: 15Why are you doing this? We are humans just like you. Please give up all this foolishness. Turn to the living God,who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and everything in them. 16In times past, God let each nation go its own way. 17But he showed that he was there by the good things he did. God sends rain from heavenand makes your crops grow. He gives food to you and makes your hearts glad. (CEV)

Acts 17: 23You worship this God, but you don't really know him. So I want to tell you about him. 24This God made the world and everything in it. He is LORD of heaven and earth, and he doesn't live in temples built by human hands. 25He doesn't need helpfrom anyone. He gives life, breath, and everything else to all people.26 Fromone person God made all nations who live on earth, and he decided when and where every nation would be. 27God has done all this, sothat we will look for him and reach out and find him. He isn't far fromany of us, 28and he gives us the power to live, to move, andto be who we are. "We are his children," just as some of your poets havesaid........ 29Since we are God's children, we must not thinkthat he is like an idol made out of gold or silver or stone. He isn't likeanything that humans have thought up and made. 30In the past,God forgave all this because people did not know what they were doing. But now he says that everyone everywhere must turn to him. (CEV)

Romans 1: 20God's eternal power and character cannot be seen. But from the beginning of creation, God has shown what these are like by all he has made. That's why those people don't have any excuse. (CEV)

Colossians 1: 15Christ is exactly like God, who cannot be seen. He is the first-born Son, superior to all creation.16 Everythingwas created by him, everything in heaven and on earth, everything seenand unseen, including all forces and powers, and all rulers and authorities. All things were created by God's Son, and everything was made for him. 17God'sSon was before all else, and by him everything is held together. (CEV)

John 1: 3And with this Word, God created all things. Nothing was made without the Word. Everything that was created 4 receivedits life from him, and his life gave light to everyone................ 10TheWord was in the world, but no one knew him, though God had made the worldwith his Word. (CEV)

Hebrews 1: 10The Scriptures also say, "In the beginning, LORD, you were the one who laid the foundation of the earth and createdthe heavens. (CEV)
