Isaiah 40: ²⁸Don't you know? Haven't you heard? TheLORD is the eternal God, Creator of the earth. He never gets wearyor tired; his wisdom cannot be measured. ²⁹The LORD gives strengthto those who are weary. ³⁰Even young people get tired, thenstumble and fall. ³¹But those who trust the LORD willfind new strength. They will be strong like eagles soaring upward on wings;they will walk and run without getting tired. (CEV)

John 7: ¹⁶Jesus replied: I am not teaching something that I thought up. What I teach comes from the one who sent me. ¹⁷ Ifyou really want to obey God, you will know if what I teach comes from God or from me. ¹⁸If I wanted to bring honor to myself, I would speak for myself. But I want to honor the one who sent me. That is whyI tell the truth and not a lie..... ²⁴Don't judge by appearances.Judge by what is right. (CEV)

Romans 10: ¹⁷No one can have faith without hearingthe message about Christ. ¹⁸But am I saying that the peopleof Israel did not hear? No, I am not! The Scriptures say, "The messagewas told everywhere on earth. It was announced all over the world."Paulwas referring to Psalms 19: ¹The heavens keeptelling the wonders of God, and the skies declare what he has done.²Eachday informs the following day; each night announces to the next. ³Theydon't speak a word, and there is never the sound of a voice. ⁴Yet theirmessage reaches all the earth, and it travels around the world. (CEV)

Romans 1: ¹⁹They know everything that can be knownabout God, because God has shown it all to them. ²⁰God's eternalpower and character cannot be seen. But from the beginning of creation,Godhas shown what these are like by all he has made. That's why thosepeople don't have any excuse. (CEV)

1 Corinthians 1: ²⁰What happened to those wise people? What happened to those experts in the Scriptures? What happened to theones who think they have all the answers? Didn't God show that the wisdomof this world is foolish? ²¹God was wise and decided not tolet the people of this world use their wisdom to learn about him.
    Instead, God chose to save only those who believethe foolish message we preach.... ²⁵Even when God is foolish,heis wiser than everyone else, and even when God is weak, he is strongerthan everyone else. ²⁷But God chose the foolish things ofthis world to put the wise to shame. He chose the weak things of this worldto put the powerful to shame. ²⁸What the world thinks is worthless,useless, and nothing at all is what God has used to destroy what the worldconsiders important. ²⁹God did all this to keep anyone frombragging to him. (CEV)

1 Corinthians 2: ⁶We do use wisdom when speaking to people who are mature in their faith. But it isn't the wisdom of thisworld or of its rulers, who will soon disappear..... ⁸The rulersof this world didn't know anything about this wisdom. If they had knownabout it, they would not have nailed the glorious LORD to a cross. (CEV)

1. What has God done and what does He continue to do to show everyonein this world what He is like?
2. How does the message we find in God's Creation help us to realizethat He is our wonderful Father?
3. Why do trusting. obeying, and becoming like Christ help us understandGod better - His power and kindness?
4. When we study together, share our needs together, and pray together,how does that help us know God better?
