Luke 24: ⁴⁵Then he helped them understand the Scriptures.... ⁴⁷.... all people of every nation must be told in my name to turn to God, in order to be forgiven. ⁴⁸.... tell everything that has happened.
 

Romans ¹¹I want to see you and share with you the same blessings that God's Spirit has given me. Then you will grow stronger in your faith. ¹²What I am saying is that we can encourage each other by the faith that is ours.... ^14-15It doesn't matter if people are civilized and educated, or if they are uncivilized and uneducated. I must tell the good news to everyone....
¹⁶I am proud of the good news! It is God's powerful way of saving all people who have faith, whether they are Jews or Gentiles. ¹⁷The good news tells how God accepts everyone who has faith, but only those who have faith. It is just as the Scriptures say, "The people God accepts because of their faith will live." (CEV)

Acts 20: ²⁴But I don't care what happens to me, as long as I finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to do. And that work is to tell the good news about God's great kindness....
³²I now place you in God's care. Remember the message about his great kindness! This message can help you and give you what belongs to you as God's people. (CEV)

Isaiah 55: ¹⁰"Rain and snow fall from the sky. But they don't return without watering the earth that produces seeds to plant and grain to eat. ¹¹That's how it is with my words. They don't return to me without doing everything I send them to do." (CEV)

John 15: ¹⁶You did not choose me. I chose you and sent you out to produce fruit, the kind of fruit that will last. Then my Father will give you whatever you ask for in my name....
²⁶I will send you the Spirit who comes from the Father and shows what is true.... ²⁷Then you will also tell others about me, because you have been with me from the beginning. (CEV)

John 17: ¹⁷Your word is the truth. So let this truth make them completely yours. ¹⁸I am sending them into the world, just as you sent me. ¹⁹I have given myself completely for their sake, so that they may belong completely to the truth. ²⁰I am not praying just for these followers. I am also praying for everyone else who will have faith because of what my followers will say about me. ²¹I want all of them to be one with each other, just as I am one with you and you are one with me. I also want them to be one with us. Then the people of this world will believe that you sent me. (CEV)

1. Why does God expect every child of His to share His Great News with the people we know?
2. When we tell others our story about the way we came to believe in Christ, what ways are best?
3. How can we become so proud of God's place in our lives that we love to show Him to others?
4. What makes a friendly small group an ideal place to tell friends and neighbors about Jesus?
5. Explain your story of how you came to really believe that Jesus is the Savior of all people.
